Senior Support Decision Analyst- Dallas (Remote & In office)

Position Highlights

  • Work location: 9250 Amberton Parkway Dallas, TX 75243

  • Work environment: Texas Health Physicians Group

  • Work hours: Day shift, Full-time (40 hours weekly) Monday through Friday 8:00am – 5:00pm

Texas Health Physicians Group (THPG) includes more than 800 physicians, nurse practitioners and physician assistants dedicated to providing quality, patient-safe care at more than 240 offices located throughout the DFW Metroplex.   • Bachelor's Degree Accounting, Finance, or other business-related field (Required)

  • 3 Years Finance healthcare experience (Required) and

  • 1 Year Decision support experience (Preferred)

  • CPA - Certified Public Accountant Upon Hire (Preferred) Or

  • Other Clinical Certification Upon Hire (Preferred)

  • Construct SQL or Oracle SQL experience (Strongly preferred)

Position Responsibilities


  • Perform data modeling and data analysis using statistical techniques.

  • Analyze variances reported in order to identify the causes and implications of said variances.

  • Participate in benchmarking efforts that will be used to measure and set goals for improving performance.

  • Prepare and deliver decision support reports to both internal and external customers.

  • Perform ad hoc analysis.


  • Establish data accuracy and validity derived from a variety of systems.

  • Work with ITS and other personnel to ensure proper utilization of data.

  • Interface with end-users of the decision support system to determine requirements for data, reports, and analysis.


  • Develop and lead training programs for new and current users of decision support system.

  • Be able to teach/explain decision support application topics.
