Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) PRN-Dallas

Are you looking for a rewarding career with flexible hours and collaborative team environment? We’re looking for a qualified Speech Language Therapist (PRN) like you to join our Texas Health family.

Position Highlights

•Work location: 8200 Walnut Hill Ln. Dallas, TX 75231

• PRN (as needed) working weekdays (highest need being Mondays and Fridays 9:30a-6:00p and 10:00a-6:30p) with 1 weekends day per quarter

•Salary range for a SLP is Minimum $33.32/hr. to Maximum $50.56/hr. – based on relevant experience. *PRN positions are subject to a flat rate.

Position Qualifications

  • Master's Degree Speech Language Pathology (Required)

OR

  • Other Post-Baccalaureate degree recognized by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (Required)

  • 1 year of acute care experience strongly preferred

Required Skills

  • Good verbal and written communication skills in English

  • Problem solving ability

  • Ability to teach others

  • Time management skills

  • Good interpersonal and customer service skills

Required License/Certification

SLP - Speech Language Pathology Texas Speech Language Pathology License Upon Hire Required OR

SLP-I - Speech Language Pathology Intern Texas Speech Language Pathology License Upon Hire Required

SLP - Speech Language Pathology Texas Speech Language Pathology License Upon Hire Preferred AND

BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support 60 Days Required

Position Responsibilities

The SLP is responsible for the assessment of patients, assessments to determine patient’s and family’s level of functioning to implement effective treatment, and to plan appropriate discharge disposition.
