Registered Dietitian I – PRN (As Needed)

We’re looking for qualified Registered Dietitian I - PRN (As Needed) like you to join our Texas Health family.

Position Highlights

Work location: 8200 Walnut Hill Ln. TX 75231

Work Environment: Food and Nutrition Services

Work hours: : PRN - As Needed, 8:00AM - 5:00PM, Monday - Friday with alternating weekends and holidays

Rotating Weekends & Holidays

Education

Bachelor's Degree Dietetics, Food and Nutrition or related area required

Experience

1 Year health care experience preferred

Licenses and Certifications

RD - Registered Dietitian 6 Months Req And

LD - Licensed Dietitian 6 Months Req

Skills

Demonstrates the ability to apply all steps of the Nutrition Care Process (NCP) in a clinical setting to effectively care for patients and whenever possible, improve patient outcomes and care experiences. Communicates effectively through both oral and written means. Possess sufficient computer skills to learn and use common business related and nutrition and/or food service specific software programs and electronic health record systems to plan and document care. Strong interpersonal skills that enable the applicant to effectively collaborate in trans-professional teams. Strong customer service skills. Ability to successfully manage stressful situations.
