Position Highlight
Work location: Texas Health Dallas,8200 Walnut Hill Ln, Dallas, TX 75023.
Work environment: Food and Nutrition Services Department
Work hours: PRN, Monday – Friday 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM and 1 weekend a month
Rotating weekends and holidays required

Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree Dietetics, Food and Nutrition or other related area required
1 year health care experience as a preferred
Licenses and Certifications
RD - Registered Dietitian 6 Months Required
LD - Licensed Dietitian 6 Months Required
Position Responsibilities THD Dietitian I R/L PRN utilizes each step of the Nutrition Care Process effectively and efficiently to provide Medical Nutrition Therapy to assigned patient populations. Promotes teamwork and supports organizational goals by demonstrating flexibility in scheduling and shift assignments.
In addition to the required qualifications, a successful THD Dietitian I R/L PRN will:

Promotes safe and effective care through effective communication and work flow practices, including the use of THR specific and High Reliability Organization (HRO) communication and safety strategies.
Promotes Quality in Practice through systematic measurement of outcomes, regular performance evaluations, and continuous improvement Maintains competence through ongoing self-evaluation and study aimed at identifying and closing relevant professional knowledge and/or performance gaps.
