Maintenance Specialist I PRN

Position Highlight

  • Work environment: SystemEngineering Department

  • Work hours: PRN, Rotating Shifts - will need to have flexibility to workday, evening or night shift as needed.

  • Rotating weekends and holidays required

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.

  • A minimum of one year maintenance experience in a healthcare facility.

  • 3 years of experience in a commercial or industrial environment required.

  • 1 year of experience in a healthcare environment preferred.

  • DL - Driver’s License Upon Hire Req

  • Other Healthcare maintenance certification Upon Hire Pref

Position Responsibilities THD Maintenance Specialist I PRN will provide routine and specialized building repair and maintenance support for hospital, hospital equipment, and hospital properties utilizing the computerized maintenance management system.

In addition to the required qualifications, a successful Maintenance Specialist I PRN will:

  • Performs the duties of skill trades such as plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, general maintenance, mechanical, HVAC, and exterior maintenance as required

  • Provide technical support and general guidance to facility staff in the repair and operation of facility equipment, components, utilities, and the like.

  • Participate in hospital and departmental safety programs, education opportunities, and related training.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.
