Qualifications/Duties:

Full Time - 7A -7P - Rotating Weekends/Holidays

Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Denton, is currently in search of an RN to help meet the needs of our patients. You will have the opportunity to work on post surgical unit and cross train to care for Oncology, Neurology, Stroke as well as post surgical patients for example. hips, knees and palliative care etc. This is a great opportunity for those nurses looking to increase their skills.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

• Graduate of a NLN (National League of Nursing) or CCNE (Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education) accredited nursing programs.

• RNs hired after January, 2014, require completion of BSN within 3 years of start date. RNs hired within THR after December, 2016, require completion of BSN within 2 years of start date.

• One year experience as a clinical nurse, or completion of an RN residency program.

• Current RN licensure or compact licensure recognized by the Texas Board of Nursing upon hire.

• Current AHA BLS upon hire.

• CPI within 60 days of hire.

• ONS and ONC to treat chemo patients within 12 months of hire.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• BSN preferred

• CMSRN preferred

• 2+ years experience as an RN in acute care setting preferred

• EKG competency preferred

• ACLS preferred

Must be highly motivated and committed to a quality of care that emphasizes the patient first.

Qualified candidate will have excellent customer service and teamwork skills as well as clinical competence.
