Lead Housekeeper

Work location: Texas Health Flower Mound 4400 Long Prairie Flower Mound, Texas 75028
Work hours: 40 Hours a week 11pm-7:30am working every other weekend.

What You Will Do
Empty, clean and reline trash containers. Properly dispose of all waste including biohazardous materials. High dust surfaces above shoulder height. Sanitize and spot clean. Clean restrooms, restocking dispensers. Dust hard surface floors/vacuum carpets. Sanitize floors/carpets. Ensure customer satisfaction with completed work.
Additional cleaning and bed making as required by patient discharge or transfer to include removal of clinical support equipment and supplies as well as soiled linen. Specialized cleaning and support for patient isolations. Terminal cleaning of operating, emergency, labor and delivery, ICU and/or special procedures rooms as well as associated specialized furniture and equipment.
Assist supervisor with training new hires and in-service training with staff. Perform patient interviews on incoming and discharging patients to inform them of the expectations from the EVS department. Follows-up on complaints and concerns made by patients, family members and staff. Performs duties of supervisor in their absence.
Adhere to the Patient Safety Goals. Responds to emergency situations appropriately. Demonstrates knowledge of emergency preparedness codes. Recognizes safety hazards; acts to protect patients, self, and others.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
