Texas Health Resources Annual Giving Specialist in Fort Worth, Texas
Texas Health Resources Foundation seeks to hire an Annual Giving Specialist to work full time.
The Annual Giving Specialist will office at Texas Health Fort Worth. There will be required travel for meetings with donors and hospitals within the said region (Texas Health Southwest, Azle, Cleburne, and Stephenville), in addition to the Arlington office for Foundation meetings.
The address is 1301 Pennsylvania Ave., Fort Worth, 76104.
Salary range is Minimum $23.58/hr. to Maximum $37.97/hr. – based on relevant experience

The Annual Giving Specialist is responsible for the annual giving fundraising activities for the foundation and/or programs specific to hospital entities within their assigned region. With a significant focus on raising unrestricted dollars, the Annual Giving Specialist will be expected to maintain a sizable prospect pool and solicit gifts up to $10,000 from individuals, foundations, and corporations on an ongoing basis. Concurrently they will focus on building relationships with prospects and existing donors through one on one interactions. This position will oversee all aspects of the development process with respect to annual donors including prospect identification and qualification, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship. The Annual Giving Specialist will also play a significant role in identifying annual fund donors who are ready to move into the major gift program.
Identifies and qualifies individual community members, foundations, and corporations for the purpose of determining if they have the financial ability, capacity and interest in making an annual gift to the foundation and/or assigned hospital entity programs.
Solicits prospects for annual gifts to assigned entity hospital programs and/or the foundation either via one-on-one contacts or with the involvement of clinical staff/THR volunteers. Solicitations also occur through the two employee giving campaigns (Associates and CEG) in achieving their assigned entity goals.
Cultivates key relationships for potential annual gifts through engagement strategy, execution, and follow up with programs including hospital visitation for grateful patients, entity affinity groups, direct mail/e solicitation, birthday buddies etc. Also works with hospital volunteer activities as well as other engagement strategies with the major gifts program.
Ensures prospects making gift commitments receive appropriate stewardship and recognition as well as follow-up correspondence for meetings and other contacts. Will work with the major gift officers to transition those donors who are ready to move into the major gifts program.
Maintains timely records of all cultivation strategies, evaluations, solicitations and results of contacts with prospects within the Foundation database.
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:
High School Diploma or Equivalent required
Bachelor’s Degree preferred
5 years experience in fund development positions, will particular emphasis on direct fund solicitation required
Skills and Abilities:
Excellent written and verbal skills in addition to proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Ability to effectively articulate the mission/vision of the Foundation and the entities we represent and a demonstrated experience in working with individuals who have philanthropic capacity.
