Texas Health Physicians Group is pleased to announce an opening for a full time Physician Assistant to help support Pediatric and adult patients who experience an injury, trauma or disease. This a great opportunity to join a team of highly trained surgeons committed to one purpose: providing patients with the most comprehensive, quality, and compassionate surgical care during all phases of their surgical experience
Full Time – 40 hours per week
General surgery for hernia repair, abdominal concerns and tumor biopsies to trauma, wound and burn therapies,
Burn and complex wound care, including skin grafting
Minimally invasive and robotic-assisted surgery
Follow up appointments in the clinic; surgical assist and hospital rounding.

Minimum 2 years of PA Surgical experience preferred
Graduate of accredited Physician Assistant program
PA Certification and TX license required
Experience or interest in working with wound care patients
Physician Assistant Qualifications:
The Physician Assistant (“PA”) will be licensed as a physician assistant in the State of Texas and maintain such license in good standing at all times. Master's degree Physician Assistant required.
The PA will report to the supervising physician and/or the Medical Director and will be responsible for meeting CME requirements to maintain certification and licensure.
The PA’s duties and responsibilities apply to the THPG patient population and assigned setting only.
