Texas Health Resources MISSION CONTROL in Fort Worth, Texas

Texas Health Methodist Hospital Fort Worth is seeking to hire a Mission Control Patient Transporter to work full time.

Salary Range is minimum $11.00 to maximum 15.44 based on relevant experience

Hours: 8:00am - 4:30pm

Must be available to work weekends; Days off may vary and are not guaranteed to be two days in a row.

  • Transports patients by the appropriate method to and from all patient care areas.

  • Transports patient care equipment, supplies, mail and other applicable supporting items throughout the hospital.

  • Assists patients in dressing appropriately for procedures.

  • Securing necessary maintenance and repair of equipment and maintains adequate stock levels of supplies.

  • Adheres to Body Substance Isolation Universal Precaution Policy.

  • Willingly accepts additional duties and tasks assigned by supervisor.

  • Deliver patient concierge services.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications

Education

H.S. Diploma or Equivalent Required and Associate's Degree Preferred

Licenses and Certifications

BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support 90 Days upon hire required

Skills

Ability to make independent decisions while maintaining tact, maturity, and a professional attitude. Excellent verbal communication. Ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language. Knowledge of Windows/PC helpful. Proactive problem solving; good interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills; advanced computer skills; time management.
