Texas Health Resources Nurse Practitioner - various shifts including weekends - Observation Unit - Fort Worth, TX in Fort Worth, Texas

Observation Unit opportunity working a rotating schedule, Day Time, 12-hour shifts including the weekends. Nurse Practitioner will be required to answer Vocera messages and incoming phone calls. It is vital that emergent and urgent pages are answered in a timely manner. Prior to existing the shift, Nurse Practitioner will communicate either in-person or via telephone with the shift Physician to ensure all calls were answered.

The Nurse Practitioner (“NP”) Must be a graduate of an accredited Advanced Nursing Program and have a current RN license for the State of Texas.

Certified Advanced Nurse Practitioner in the State of Texas.

The NP will report to the supervising physician and/or the Medical Director and will be responsible for meeting CME requirements to maintain certification and licensure.

The NP’s duties and responsibilities apply to the THPG patient population and assigned setting only
