Texas Health Resources Paramedic-PRN-Rotating Shift-Emergency Dept-THAL in Fort Worth, Texas

Texas Health Alliance seeks to hire a Paramedic (EMT-P) to work on a PRN or as needed basis in the Emergency Department.

This opportunity will be working at our Alliance Hospital campus located at 10864 Texas Health Train in Fort Worth, TX 76244.

The work schedule for this opportunity will be a rotating shift starting at either 7a (0700) or at 7p (1900), depending on the need, and includes rotating weekends and holidays.

The salary range for this opportunity is from $17.40 to a maximum of $26.13 based on relevant experience as listed on your resume.

PROVIDING INTERVENTIONS: Performs technical skills that are adapted to reflect the age-specific, developmental and diversity needs of the patient. 40%

ACCOUNTABILITY: Enhances patient care skills. Serves as a patient advocate. Provides for patient privacy and dignity. Communicates per department expectations. Demonstrates cooperative relationships by showing willingness to support team members. Acceptable use of interpersonal relationship skills with patients, families, co- workers, physicians, all disciplines, and other customers. 30%

SAFETY/INFECTION CONTROL: Incorporates age specific safety/ infection control measures into patient care. 15%

ASSESSMENT: Collects data relevant to the patient?��s physical, psychosocial, cognitive and religious needs. 10%

KPI: Assists in meeting departmental/hospital KPI?��s related to: Patient outcomes, Customer satisfaction, Financial performance, Organizational effectiveness and Community health care 5%

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

Education:

High School diploma or equivalent (GED) required.

Other – CLIAFE - Must comply with CLIA regulations regarding foreign education equivalency.

Experience:

Six (6) months recent Paramedic experience preferred.

Licenses and Certifications

EMT-P - Emergency Medical Technician-Paramedic upon hire required and

ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support upon hire required and

BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support upon hire required with

CPI - Crisis Prevention Intervention training within 60 days of hire required.

PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support within 90 days of hire required.

Skills

Possesses organizational skills to function in a fast paced environment, positive interpersonal skills, good verbal and written communication skills, able to perform basic computer skills.
