Texas Health Resources Patient Care Tech Apprentice Neuro ICU-Nights in Fort Worth, Texas

Position Highlights

Work location: Texas Health Fort Worth 1301 Pennsylvania Ave TX 76104

Work environment: Neuro ICU

Work hours During Training: Full Time; 40 hours per week; 4-5 week training period hours will typically be Monday-Friday 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM . Must attend all required days during the training program. Hours will be 12 hour night shifts upon completion of program as a PCT.

Salary range: $13.00/hour during training, pay increases to $15 per hour upon completion of program.

*Committment agreement to THR may be required


  • High School Diploma required

  • Must be 18 years of age or older

Skills & Abilities:

Possesses organizational skills to function in a fast-paced work environment, positive interpersonal skills, and good verbal and written communication skills.

Position Responsibilities

Texas Health Harris Fort Worth Patient Care Techs (PCT) Apprentices are responsible for providing an excellent patient healthcare experience at each Texas Health site.

Position Summary

The Texas Health Patient Care Technician (PCT) Apprentice Program was developed to create a workplace that reflects the diverse communities we are privileged to serve. This "learn while you earn" program creates a pathway for those interested in a career in healthcare. Program Apprentices will develop highly valued skills to become a Certified Patient Care Technician.
