Patient Care Tech (PCT) Cardiac/Tele Unit Full Time Days
$8,000 Sign-On Bonus for External Hires
This opportunity will be working full time, 3 – 12 hour shifts per week, in the Cardiac/Tele Unit at our Fort Worth Hospital campus located at 1301 Pennsylvania Avenue in Fort Worth, TX 76104.
The work schedule for this opportunity will be day shift, 7a (0700) to 7p (1900) and includes rotating weekends and holidays.

The ideal candidate for this opportunity will possess the following qualifications:
High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED) required
Licenses and Certifications Required
CNA - Certified Nurse Aide license or
RN Nursing student who has completed fundamentals or
Military experience with medical training equivalent and
BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support
CPI - Crisis Prevention Intervention Training within 60 days of hire.
CARE OF PATIENT, TECHNICAL SKILLS and RESPONSABILITIES:
Provides assistance to patient according to plan of care.
Collects patient data, identifies and reports significant findings to nurse.
Assists in admission, transfer and discharge.
Provides and Revises patient activities of daily living based on patient/family preferences.
Performs technical procedures safely and proficiently.
Takes action to reduce or eliminate patient risk.
Enters orders into computer or manual system if applicable.
Documents accurately and appropriately.
In collaboration/consultation with the nurse, adapts care to reflect patient population.
In collaboration/consultation with nurse, incorporates cultural/religious needs and beliefs into delivery of care.
Keeps patient environment clean and maintains safe environment.
Anticipates patient/family and visitor needs and takes action to meet those needs and rounds as appropriate
