Texas Health Resources RN Outpatient Chemotherapy Part time Fort Worth in Fort Worth, Texas
Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Fort Worth has a part time opportunity for an outgoing RN with a positive attitude to provide care for patients in an Outpatient Infusion Center.
Variable days Monday-Friday 8:00-4:30. No weekends or major holidays
The ideal candidate will meet the following requirements:
Graduate of a NLN (National League of Nursing) or CCNE (Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education) accredited nursing programs. Graduate of a NLN (National League of Nursing) or CCNE (Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education) accredited nursing programs.
BSN preferred. RNs hired after January, 2014, require completion of BSN within 3 years of start date. RNs hired within THR after December, 2016, require completion of BSN within 2 years of start date.
One year experience as a clinical nurse, or completion of an RN residency program
Current RN licensure or compact licensure recognized by the Texas Board of Nursing upon hire; Current AHA BLS upon hire. ; Chemotherapy Certification with ONS within 1 year and recertification every 2 years. Trained in apheresis and chemo/biotherapy preferred, OCN preferred.
A high degree of confidentiality, positive interpersonal skills, and ability to function in a fast-paced, out-patient infusion clinic.
