Painter – Full Time – Rotating Shifts

Work hours: Full Time; 40 Hours – Rotating Shifts
Salary range: $18.09 – $26.71 per hour (based on relevant experience)

- High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred.
3 years’ experience journey level work in painting, finishing, and maintaining of surfaces and structures required and
Previous experience working in a hospital environment preferred.
- DL – Driver’s License; Clean driving record upon hire required.
Ability to use computerized systems for all aspects of job performance.
Proven application experience with all type finishes including paints, lacquers, varnish, water proofing, epoxy, shellac, heat resistance, etc.
Proven experience with surface preparation and repair to include wallpaper and other surface types.
Ability to climb and lift up to 50 lbs.
Ability to work unsupervised.
Excellent oral and written communications skills.
Ability to keep computerized records of time, travel, material, labor, and other costs.
Ability to respond to off-hours emergencies.
Prepares, primes, sands, seals, patches and paints furniture, surfaces, buildings, and fixtures utilizing all types of painting materials such as varnish, lacquer, shellac, enamel, latex, epoxy, waterproofing and heat resistant finishes and the like.
Inspect, repair, and/or refurbish wall surfaces by means of the appropriate materials such as drywall, stucco, wallpaper, and the like.
Operates, cleans and maintains all painting equipment, including brush, roll, sprayers and pumps, and all other job-related equipment.
Participate in hospital and departmental safety program, educational opportunities, and related training.
