  • Work environment: Pharmacy

  • Work hours: PRN: As Needed; Monday – Friday 7:30A.M.-5:30P.M.; Saturday and Sunday 8:00A.M.-4:00P.M.

  • H.S. Diploma or equivalent required

  • No experience required

  • Hospital experience preferred

  • IV Certification strongly preferred

  • RPhT - Registered Pharmacy Technician Upon Hire required

  • Proficiency in written and verbal English language, computer, and basic math

Position Responsibilities THK Registered Pharmacy Technician will provide a timely and accurate preparation, delivery & storage of medications, including (when appropriate) the use of technology to do so.

In addition to the required qualifications, a successful Registered Pharmacy Technician will:

  • Ensuring accuracy of one's own work as well as the maintenance of required competencies, and other documentation. Must reflect consistently departmental QI and PS standards, programs and initiatives.

  • Ongoing professional development and growth.

  • Communicate effectively, develop working relationships and role model teamwork.

  • Manages own time and shares the responsibility for minimizing pharmaceutical costs (including wastage) and discovering new process efficiencies.

  • Other duties as assigned.
