Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) – Family Care
Fast-paced, high-volume clinic looking for a top skilled LVN.
Work location: 2012 FM 407, Suite 100, Lewisville, TX 75077
Work Environment: Family Care
Work hours: Fulltime, Monday – Thursday 7:30am - 5:00pm and Friday 8:00am – 1:00pm

Here’s What You Need
High School Diploma or equivalent (required)
Graduated from an Accredited School of Practical Nursing Program (required)
LVN - Licensed Vocational Nurse Upon Hire (required)
Experience in a clinical environment (strongly preferred)
ACLS or BCLS (required)
Additional Specialty Certifications if applicable (may be required)
A successful LVN Medical Office Lead will
Knowledge of basic nursing processes and understanding of healthcare technology, equipment, and supplies
Familiarity with state law on nursing care, nurse practice guidelines, and clinic policies and procedures
Ability to effectively communicate to staff and patients
Demonstrate sound judgment and composure with the ability to take appropriate action in questionable or emergency situations
Maintains a positive, caring attitude towards patients
Possesses a strong work ethic and a high level of professionalism
Must have time management skills
What You Will Do
Delivers care to patients utilizing the LVN Process
Directs and guides back-office staff in monitoring and expediting workflow.
Handles medical supply inventory, orders, and cost control.
Manages patient phone calls for results and health information, Monitors and documents treatment progress and patient response.
Conveys information to patients and families about health status, health maintenance, and management of acute and chronic conditions.
Performs basic nursing care for patients by following established standards and procedures.
May perform specific nursing care as it relates to specialty of the practice.
Prepares and administers injections, performs routine tests.
Prepares patient records and files using established medical record forms/automated systems and documentation practices.
Participates in teams to improve patient care processes and outcomes. Performs other duties as assigned.
