Texas Health Physicians Group is pleased to announce a full time opening for a Cardiothoracic Surgical Physician Assistant . Here is your chance to work with highly skilled/trained physicians who use state-of-the-art technology and innovative procedures for patients who are diagnosed with a disease of the chest, heart, lungs, esophagus or the major blood vessels and veins of the body.
Position Details:
Full Time, 40 hours per week
Surgical Assist in cases, Outpatient Ambulatory Visits & Hospital Rounding
Electronic Medical Records
Assess new consults in the clinic and hospital admissions
Use evidence-based medicine to ensure the best outcomes to provide a comprehensive surgical experience and exceptional care

Requirements Needed to Apply:
Active Texas license
Physician Assistant Board Certification and Experience
Master’s Degree in Physician Assistant studies from an approved PA program
Surgical Experience plus 1 – 2 years Hospital & Ambulatory experience preferred
The Physician Assistant (“PA”) will be licensed as a physician assistant in the State of Texas and maintain such license in good standing at all times. Master's degree Physician Assistant required.
The PA will report to the supervising physician and/or the Medical Director and will be responsible for meeting CME requirements to maintain certification and licensure.
The PA’s duties and responsibilities apply to the THPG patient population and assigned setting only.
