Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) – Family Care

Fast-paced, high-volume clinic looking for a top skilled Certified Medical Assistant

*Sign-On for Eligible New Hires*

Work location : 2100 Hedgcoxe Rd. Ste 120, Plano TX, 75025

Work hours: Fulltime, Monday – Friday 8:00am – 5:00pm

Here’s What You Need

  • High School Diploma or equivalent (required)

  • CMA - Current Medical Assistant Certification (required)

  • 6 months medical assistant experience (preferred)

  • Experience multitasking in a fast-paced clinic (preferred)

  • EMR experience (preferred)

  • ACLS or BLS (preferred)

  • Non-Certified Radiologic Technician training (may be required)

What You Will Do

  • Delivers care to patients utilizing the Certified Medical Assistant Process

  • Conducts patient check out, surgery scheduling and post operative calls as primary function of position

  • Communicates with patient regarding test results and plan of care by phone or mail as directed by physician

  • Provides for patient safety and protection of patient privacy rights

  • May work in the front office as needed

  • May perform other duties as assigned by practice manager, more senior staff, or as requested by healthcare provider(s)
