Texas Health Plano seeks to hire a Director Operational Excellence
Location: Plano, TX
• Monday through Friday
Guides project teams in conducting performance improvement and process redesign projects using appropriate analytic and facilitation techniques as the situation requires. Ensures project has defined objectives and measurable outcomes associated with it.
Develops and implements a strategy for Lean Six Sigma program that promotes a culture of change and alignment with the hospital's Mission, Vision, Values and KPI's.
Utilizes key business skills to guide project leadership and team members in achieving the stated business objectives
Develops and executes work plans for strategic process redesign and performance improvement activities
Structures and conducts best practice research, process analysis, benchmarking, and performance baseline measurement activities
Accountability for oversight and reporting on all assigned performance improvement initiatives
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications
Master's Degree required
5 years prior management experience required, and 3 years within healthcare required.
1 year project management and performance improvement experience preferred
Licenses and Certifications
SSBBC - Six Sigma Black Belt Certification required upon hire
PMP - Project Management Professional Certification preferred upon hire
Strong PC literacy with full suite Microsoft Office applications including Access. Prefer
experience with Crystal reports and database maintenance. Excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills
