Work hours: Friday 7-3:30 (Occasional evening or weekend work required)

Education
H.S. Diploma or Equivalent Req
Experience
1 Year related experience Req
Skills
Possesses organizational skills to function in a fast paced work environment, positive interpersonal skills, and good verbal and written communication skills. Background and in hospital charging, computer data entry experience preferred.
What You Will Do
Post patient procedure and supply charges via appropriate charging workflow for assigned service line within designated time frame
Review posted charges to ensure accuracy and complete charge corrections, as needed
Generate appropriate reports to reconcile charges, as well as identify missed charges to post
Review and resolve charge errors via assigned Epic work queues and/or email inquiries
Identify and report trending charge errors
Assist with staff re-education as it relates to charging, when applicable
Assist with obtaining new charge codes for procedures and/or supplies
Communicates per department expectations
Recognizes and communicates ethical and legal concerns through established
channels of communication
Identifies realistic and measurable annual goals for ongoing skill development.
Strives to meet departmental Key Performance Indicators/System Key Focus Areas.
Other duties as assigned.
