Texas Health Resources Registered Nurse - Med Surg in Stephenville, Texas

Texas Health Stephenville seeks to hire a Registered Nurse to work PRN in the Med/surg Department.

The address is 411 Belknap, Stephenville, TX 76401

Work Schedule

• Shift is 7:00P – 7:00A or 7:00A -7:00P, PRN III “As Needed” Rotating Weekends and Holidays – PRN III requires a minimum of 72 hours a month

Our Med/surg unit is a cohesive team environment with nurses who improve the quality of care for General Medical and Surgical patients with the following illnesses: pneumonia, diabetes, cardiac chest pains, general surgery, appendectomy, bowel surgeries, ortho, hips and knees .

Qualifications - External

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications

• Associate's Degree Nursing.

• Bachelor's Degree Nursing preferred.

• TX RN or Compact RN license Upon Hire required.

• BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support Upon Hire required

• CPI within 60 days required

• ACLS, PALS, TNCC and ENPC Preferred within 30 days of hire

• Effective in managing multiple acute chronic disease processes.

• 2+ years of RN experience in Med/Surg from an acute care setting required.

• CMSRN preferred
