Texas Health Resources Director of Nursing Substance Abuse in Texas

Qualifications/Duties:

Texas Health Resources is hiring for a full time Director of Nursing Substance Abuse.

Hours- Monday-Friday 8am-5pm varies hours or on call

REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor's Degree in Nursing

Master's Degree in health related field OR psychiatric nursing

Five years of experience in leadership AND five years of clinical psychiatric or chemical dependency experience

RN/BCLS Upon hire and CPI within 30 days of hire

PREFERENCES

**At least five years of behavioral health experience is strongly preferred

**At least five years of substance abuse nursing experience is strongly preferred

Required skills:Knowledge of industry standards:organization, theory, principles, and research processes, quality improvement and change management techniques, financial analysis, budget process and planning, accreditation and regulatory standards, strategic planning principles, ability to assess nursing care requirements based on nursing principles, scope of practice, and regulatory standards.

Duties:

Responsible for the development/implementation/evaluation of the Strategic Plan for areas of responsibility and Participation of the development of the Behavioral Health Nursing Strategic Plan; participates actively in Hospital Strategic Plan development and implementation.

Contributes to the Financial/Operational viability of Behavioral Health , meeting or exceeding financial and operational KPIs for areas of responsibility.

Responsible for establishing and directing effective utilization of human resources; assuring optimal competency and enhancing staff engagement in areas of responsibility.

Entity Information:

The Texas Health Recovery and Wellness Center in Mansfield, Texas is an 80 bed residential treatment center for the treatment of addictions. The Texas Health Recovery and Wellness Center will have a twelve step focus and treat adults and adolescents. The Center will provide addiction treatment with a focus on wellness and will include yoga, meditation, Tai Chi, massage, water therapies in the swimming pool and extensive outdoor therapies.
