8 am -5 pm, Days Vary but Must be have Some Weekend Availability


Master's Degree in Counseling or Social Work


2 Years of healthcare related Counseling or Social Work Preferred


Upon Hire

LMSW- Licensed Master Social Worker or

LCSW-Licensed Clinical Social Worker or

LPC - Licensed Professional Counselor or

LPC-I - Licensed Professional Counselor -Intern or

MFT- Marriage and Family Therapist

BCLS -Basic Cardiac Life Support

CPI- Crisis Prevention in

Job Duties:

Provides individual, family, and group psychotherapy and counseling utilizing modalities consistent with the facility philosophy.

Participates in the assessment of patients. Conducts psychosocial assessments to determine patient’s and family’s level of functioning to implement effective treatment, and to plan appropriate discharge disposition.

Conducts PASR screenings as needed.

Maintains professional accountability and enhances social work skills.

Serves as patient advocate.

Provides discharge planning consistent with patient’s level of functioning and bio psychosocial needs.

Assists with the development and documentation of comprehensive treatment plans for each patient.

Participates in providing effective and cost efficient quality program services.

Entity Information:

The Texas Health Recovery and Wellness Center in Mansfield, Texas is an 80 bed residential treatment center for the treatment of addictions. The Texas Health Recovery and Wellness Center will have a twelve step focus and treat adults and adolescents. The Center will provide addiction treatment with a focus on wellness and will include yoga, meditation, massage, water therapies in the swimming pool and extensive outdoor therapies.
